So here we are - the start of the 2011 skydiving season at Skydive Carolina......and we're stoked! The weather has been amazing, and first time skydivers have been visiting us in droves and we're so excited about it! 2010 was an amazing year for this skydive center with a wonderful CarolinaFest last June and seeing six of our competitive teams take it to the highest stage at the USPA Nationals.
It's now time to focus on the good weather and share more stories about our great sport. So, as our first blog post of 2011......with a vow to be a better, more frequent blogger we present the wonderful story of Gary Holm. Gary has inspired us with his amazing story of weight loss and getting his life back having shed 180lbs so he could realize his lifelong dream of skydiving.
