It's almost upon us....CarolinaFest 2009. After much planning and even a little controversy, this event is seriously taking shape. It's hard to get excited about something that seems so far away....but now it's starting to give me butterflies in my stomach.....this thing is now only 40 days away....will we be ready? We better be ready! Things are starting to take shape. Flights have been booked for our organizers (just ran the credit card) Luigi from LAX and Amy C from PHX. Check. The new sign was erected at the front entrance yesterday. Check. Now to find more volunteers.....educate our folks about registration and gear checks.....make sure there is plenty of shade, ice and water, double-check, triple-check aircraft arrivals, order tee shirts today.......the list is orchestrated and under execution. I'm starting to get very excited about this boogie..we're going to have a great time!
