Awards Ceremony and More

This is my favorite time of year as we head into our awards ceremony being hosted at Dilworth Billiards. To me, there's nothing like celebrating with each other, reflecting back on a great year, awarding our peers for their accomplishments and looking forward to a new year. Last week in the Weekly Update, a request was sent out for names for individual awards and the response was very positive. Here are the names that have come through so far:


Skydiver of the Year: Team Carolina Black Ice, Joey Freeman, Jan Lane, Jurga Berry, Pete Langehans

Citizen of the DZ: Tim Petalino, Mike Martin, Kathy West, Gene Stuart, Quincy Kennedy, Ashley Martin

Rising Faller: Ryan Zwicker, Paul Peeler, Lee Kinser, Matt Zwicker, Siobhan Mulvey, Julie Habermann

Most Improved: Jurga Berry, Paul Peeler, Tommy Levitt, Jeanne Welsh, Ryan Zwicker, Siobhan Mulvey, Nancy Newman, Julie Habermann

All nominated are worthy of the awards, so it will be interesting to see how the voting plays out! Nominations will continue through next week - so keep it coming!
